Great way to build review the "MAD" strategy when converting mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa with this engaging activity!
How to play:
Students are given a card with an "I am" statement and "who has?" statement. Each student will read their "I am statement" and ask the "who has?" statement. For example, "I am 3 1/2. Who has the improper form of 2 3/9?", and the next student would declare "I am 21/9. Who has the mixed form of 15/4?" The round robin would continue until the last student reads "I am the last card."
