Homophones sound the same but have different spellings and different meanings and can be very challenging to use in the correct context! This activity will help your students get a better understating of how to use them properly while learning new vocabulary.
This is a leveled activity created for older students that includes 72 total cards. You can start off with less challenging/more familiar word pairs and move toward more challenging sets of homophones.
Cut apart all cards and laminate for durability. Put cards in piles for each level. (3 levels included). Please note that some words have more than two sentence examples if the word has more than two meanings.
