I was inspired by Shelia Janes's scope about Mr. Rogers to create this graphic for my classroom. I hung it on the inside of my door so students could read it as they left each day. I remember watching Mr. Rogers as a little girl and he always ended his show telling us kid viewers that he liked us just the way we were. Each day I demand so much of my kids, there attention, focus, good choices, effort, quiet feet, progress and so much more. The work is for some so hard, and at the end of the day, no matter what they accomplished or didn't, I want them to know they are enough. They are wonderful and so very special to me. I want them to know "I love them just the way they are."
