This is one of my favorite listening activities! I use this for the childhood/imperfect unit with Spanish 2.
I have typed up the words that Desi (Ricky Ricardo) says. I print out as many copies as I need for students to work in pairs and then cut them into strips, placing the strips into an envelope. Depending on the level of proficiency, you could do a few large chunks, or individual lines for your more advanced students. The first (and second) time they listen, have them put the lines in order. After this, we discuss and have the students guess what story it is. The third (and fourth) time through, have them circle the verb he uses. This will then lead into a very simple discussion of the preterite and imperfect, which is how I introduce the material.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
