This set is designed to provide a visual aid and communication tool for children in classroom and therapy settings, when needing to request HELP. These cards may be especially helpful for children with language difficulties, ADHD and children on the Autism spectrum.
Asking for ‘HELP’ cards may be a useful tool in communication skill development, especially for children who have difficulty with verbal communication. They can assist with managing frustration by providing a strategy for communication, rather than allowing the build-up of frustration that may lead to a meltdown.
The pack includes:
• A set of HELP cards in small size, with four variations
• A set of HELP cards in a medium size, with four variations
• A set of HELP cards in a large size, with four variations
The cards come in 3 different sizes to allow for flexible use in a number of settings.
The cards also include 4 different image variations, to allow for some choice in the provided visual.
These cards may be successfully integrated into the classroom as part of a behaviour support plan, used as a tool in an ABA therapy program or utilised within the home environment as needed.
