I have created these "I Read" blank book pages and used them with a variety of grades. Usually I print them back-to-back, cut in half, and secure them with a binder ring in the top left corner. Students date the page, list the title, and write a short description (or their favorite part!) and draw a picture. My kiddos also like to rate the book by adding star stickers to the top right corner (e.g., 2 star stickers = I loved it!). In this way, students get a chance to rate books and it helps them keep track of all the reading they've done for the year! It also helps you and the parents by giving a sneak peek into their most loved genres. And yet another way it can be be used is in place of a reading log to record books read at home. Anyway, I'm sure you could figure out a ton of other ways to use these pages =) Feel free to fancy 'em up a bit with a nice cover or real binding!
Please let me know of any changes or recommendations! I'd love to receive all sorts of feedback.
