This easy reader follows using it in a pocket chart. We do that several times before the book comes to guided reading.
We decorate a shark, but I don’t tell them why, but keep it for later when they read the book. You could leave the decorated sharks in the pocket chart. Pocket charts are one of my centers.

The last page is to design your own. I remember a very popular movie where they try to disguise a shark.
To use: NO cutting. Just fold the papers in half word side out and stack. Then staple, making the pages stronger with the fold on the page turning side.
