Episode Summary: In Montana, five skiers are ravaged by a massive avalanche on New Year's Day, 2005. One man suffers a gruesome compound fracture to his leg and another is killed. The three remaining friends fight to keep their friend alive through a growing storm, but his leg is starting to decompose and the rescue helicopter can't land in the weather.
