Blackline masters of the 3D Shape Book
Learning about geometric shapes is a math concept students are introduced to early in kindergarten. Later in the year, once students have learned the basic 2D shapes (circle, square, etc.) we move on to the 3 dimensional shapes. Some fun activities to do once the 3D shapes have been introduced are: sorting 3D and 2D shapes and making 3D shapes using toothpicks and mini-marshmallows. The 3D Book can be completed a page at a time. When the book is finished not only will it be a great review of what was taught in class, but students will have a fun book to read and share with their families at home.
