I Spy is a fun interactive activity, that will guarantee to get your little ones up and moving! I have combined two of my classes favorite activities, I Spy and Write the Room and took it to the next level by using flashlights to help us complete our activity!!!
I have also differentiated this activity so it will engage all levels of learning.
Students practice writing tracing different numerals or filling in ten frames on differentiated recording sheets.
Print and laminate the posters for durability and hang them around the classroom.
Students take a recording sheet, clipboard, writing utensil, and flashlight and visit each poster. They write the number or fill in the ten frame that matches the numbers found on one of the individualized recording sheets. This fun I Spy room activity is differentiated for beginners, who trace the grey numbers. Others will fill in the ten frame with a visual cue, while more experienced learners fill in the ten frame or number sheet without visual cues.
This activity has 3 different ways to use this activity so it will advance as your learners advance through the school year.
