I created these worksheets for my 4th grade students to do for homework. They read one chapter and then complete the worksheet to go with the chapter. Because they are completing them at home, the questions are fairly basic and the prompts give them help to find the information.
There are questions that point to figurative language (similes, metaphors, alliteration, personification), and questions that help with visualization. There are questions about predicting, characterization, and story setting.
I have included pages with the answer keys so that you don't have to wonder "What in the world kind of answer is this lady looking for?" I hope this resource helps someone else when assigning this book to their students.
The free resource contains the worksheets for chapters 1 through 5. If you like them, I invite you to support my work with the paid version. It contains the editable document (.docx) and the pdf with worksheets for the entire book (chapters 1-18).
