This is a interactive project that allows students to build a map using information from the book, "I Survived the Nazi Invasion, 1944."
When reading this book, I use a journal that is a lot of writing - so I use this as a writing break and to encourage students creativity.
Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text.
Students must make an inference to create an "escape route" that the main characters would have planned and taken, using information from the book.
