I Survived: The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912:
This unit has 48 pages full of vocabulary and comprehension questions. It is set up so that vocabulary is done for two chapters at a time, the two chapters are read, and then there are comprehension questions for those two chapters. This unit can be used for small group literature circles or as a whole class read.
There is also a three page test with 15 multiple choice questions and three written response questions.
The unit also includes:
An activity for your students to write a front page newspaper article to report the sinking of the Titanic (rough draft for notes and paper for final copy included).
A KWL Chart for the R.M.S. Titanic.
A research activity with questions to guide the student's research and paper to write a research report about the R.M.S. Titanic.

This novel study includes vocabulary, chapter questions, and an end of book test. There is an answer key for the chapter questions and the test. The questions and the vocabulary are grouped in two or three chapters.
The test includes multiple choice questions and questions that require complete sentences.
There is also a sheet to take notes for research on The Battle of Gettysburg (with specific questions where the answers can be found in the back of the book) and a sheet to write a research report.
