This is packet designed for use with the book I Yam a Donkey! by Cece Bell. The story is about an argument between a Donkey and a Yam. The text is based on the classic “Who’s on First?” routine by Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
The packet covers language arts concepts including fiction, correct use of am and is, prediction, comprehension, and the letter Y, There is a section of work with the words am, are, donkey, is, yak, yam, yarn, and yellow.
I hope that you will enjoy reading this book and using these printables as much as my students and I do.
