I am Grateful Yoga Brain Break can be used as a fun break during the day in preparation for Thanksgiving, to manage classroom behavior. It also serves as a social skills lesson on showing gratitude for people and things in our life, beyond toys and video games.
Yoga, when used as a brain break, helps with classroom management and behaviors giving students the ability to physically move around, expend some energy, as well as calm and activate the brain to increase focus.
The Boardmaker pictures can be easily displayed on an interactive white board or printed and used with a document camera. The pictures are appropriate and accessible for students of varying abilities and across multiple grade levels.
