This emergent reader focuses on ways to be kind during winter is a great way to introduce kids to character education and social emotional curriculum and is perfect for winter activities.

Students can read about different ways to show kindness in this emergent reader student book that comes in color and black and white as a beginning activity.

These emergent readers use simple language, and sight words to describe an essential concept: there are many ways to show kindness during the winter months.

This is perfect for Pre-K students, preschool students, TK students, Kindergarten students, first grade students, and 2nd grade students, 3rd grade students.

Then you can continue the conversation with the teacher discussion starters during morning meetings or as further writing prompts or as your question of the day.

Students can then connect this social-emotional learning activity with creative writing by writing one or both of the included writing prompts.
