I have always been intrigued by people who are willing to stand up for their beliefs, even if it puts them in harms way. Teaching students about the world around them means that, as teachers, we are sometimes called upon to explain when bad things happen. Thankfully, there are always people to hold up as examples of those who make good happen in our world, and Malala Yousafzai is one of them. This is a powerful book!
