Use this as a fun final day before break activity with your little ones! I Have done it for years with different grade levels and it's always a hit at the Thanksgiving table.
Copy page 1 on thicker orange paper (or white and have kiddos color it, but I'm always in too much of a rush for that), and copy page 2 on green paper. Each student will need 2 orange strip papers and as many leaves as you'd like.
Students write/draw what they're thankful for on each strip and when they're done, you can staple them together at the top and bottom to form a pumpkin. I staple a leaf on top and use a green pipe cleaner to make a curly little vine to top it all off.
This is a great conversation piece to help children express what they're thankful for at Thanksgiving Dinner!
