Suggested Directions and Tips
Discuss the concepts of “luck” and “blessing.” We as Christians consider the good things in our lives to be blessings from the Lord, as opposed to random luck. Instruct students to color their rainbows and shamrocks with colored pencils, markers or crayons. Add name to one of the shamrock leaves, and one blessing for each ribbon of the rainbow. To enrich the activity, consider assigning a category for each of the rainbow ribbons, such as: place, person, thing, animal, spiritual, family member. Tip: use a black washable marker for writing. Cut out drawing and use to make a bulletin board display. See my store for bundle that includes pennant banner “We Are Blessed" for use on bulletin board display. Use Bible verse coloring page to reinforce concept of blessings being from the Lord.
