This is activity is perfect for use in stations (centers), as a review game, or part of the lesson. There are two versions of this game provided here. In one students work on their knowledge of the order the planets from the sun.
The second version of the game is perfect for students that enjoy being challenge. This version requires the students to learn the distance each planet is from the sun.
Recommended: Print on card stock paper and/or laminate for multiple uses! Don't let the fun fall apart!

components of the solar system.

GLE 0607.6.2 Describe the relative distance of
objects in the solar system from earth.
How to Play:
1. Each student gets one or two cards (depending on how many students are in the group).
2. The player with the card that says "I am START" will start the game by reading their card, "I am start, who is Earth?"
3. The player that has the card that says "I am Earth" will then read their card.
4. The game continues until the player that has the card that says "END" goes.
