This book is meant to be copied on different colored paper. See below. Students cut on black lines, and discard top portion. Cut pages are assembled in order and stapled into a book. Students practice reading the book. For younger students, it is suggested you use letter size pages. For older students, you can reduce pages to half size. Suitable for grades K-5.
cover pages: any color. (preferably a color not used inside). Cut out oval.
page 1 - light green (to represent the green grass).
page 2 - brown (to represent the good earth).
page 3 - darker green (to represent the tall trees)
page 4 - light blue (to represent the clear cool lakes and rivers)
page 5 - purple (to represent the high mountains)
page 6 - yellow (to represent the warm sun)
page 7 - darker blue (to represent the blue skies and clean air)
page 8 - white (On this page students will draw things they are thankful for this Thanksgiving.) This can also be the back cover to the book.
