Most students learn to count by fives quite easily, but unless they can learn their times tables out of order, they will be forever skip counting. This game will help them to consolidate their understanding.
This is a game for 1 to thirteen players and takes about five minutes to play. Print double sided on card, or laminate, and cut the cards out.
It can be a competitive team game if it is timed and players try to beat their own or other teams' times. As an incentive, I list the teams in time order on the class brag board and they try to move up to be the fastest group.
It is engaging for all players as they need to listen for the question that matches their answer.
