Students can use this to track their "I can . . ." statements from class. Students will write their I can statements and the date first for the given lesson. After the lesson or concept is taught the students will color in the stars to determine how comfortable they are with the material. One star means that they would like review. Two stars mean that they are feeling good about the concept. Three stars mean that they are ready to move on. I have used these as an informal assessment to see where my students are.
