I created this so that I can incorporate a little more interaction in my math time with tens and ones. I saw some other products like this, but I wanted to incorporate the use of equations to represent tens and ones.
I am going to have each student call out the first set of tens and ones and then the second set of tens and ones on their card under the “who has” section. All of the students need to have some scrap paper and a pencil at their desk to draw the tens and ones each person calls out. The next step will be for them to come up with an equation to represent the tens and ones and decide whether they have the matching card.
