Engage ALL learners and help students learn color theory while paying a game of "I have... Who has" created by Where Creativity Connects!
This packet includes 6 cards that help students review the complementary colors of red, yellow, blue, green, orange, and violet.
There are 4 versions of the 6 cards to meet your different classroom needs.
How I Use It:
In my art room the students students clean up and line up to wait for thier classroom teacher. Everyone now and then my timing isn’t perfect of thier teacher is running late. Instead of wasting learning time by standing silently in line, I quickly pass out these cards and we play a few rounds of “I have... Who has” while we wait. The students love the fast pace challenge and it keeps everyone busy and attentive.
How to play:
Distribute the cards randomly to your students. Some students may get more than one card. This set is best used with a small group of 6 or less students. Select a student to begin by reading their card aloud. (example: I have yellow. Who has who has the complementary color of red?) The student who has the card with the correct answer to the previous student’s “Who Has...” question reads their card aloud. (example: I have green. Who has the complementary color of orange?) And so on. Students must listen for their turn and try not to break the chain. When the chain circles around to the first student, the game is over.
