I have... Who has... Ziparound games are a great way to get the entire class engaged in a review activity. Just print the pages on cardstock, or brightly colored paper, laminate them, and you're off! Pass a strip to each student (some students may get more than one depending on class size) and begin.
You may start with any student since, if done correctly, the questions/answer will end up with the starting student being the ending student. Students will read the card as written, making sure their 'I have...' is the answer to the previous student's 'Who has...' The whole class should be listening in order to correct mistakes, and identify when their turn is up.
I like to make this competitive and keep track of how quickly we can complete the game, or see which of my classes can answer in the shortest time with the fewest errors. Students love this highly engaging activity and I try to use it every few weeks.
This I have... Who has... Ziparound focuses on the Abolitionists and Suffragists, as well as the Age of Jackson, and Inventions. Can be easily edited to meet the specific facts which match your teaching
