Force and motion is one of my favorite science concepts to teach each year. After introducing and exploring it for a couple of weeks, I bring out our "I have, Who has?" cards for practice and review.
The cards help students review the key vocabulary from the unit, including:
The cards also allow students to identify examples of different types of forces and speeds.
OPTIONAL SCIENTIFIC METHOD CARDS
I usually introduce the Scientific Method as part of our force and motion unit. So, in addition to forces and motion, you can also include the optional Scientific Method cards. The steps included are:
Don't worry if you teach different steps or use different or have additional vocabulary. There are EDITABLE cards included so you can make additional cards, if needed.
I have included an answer sheet as an accountability tool for students. It never hurts to practice writing down their key vocabulary words! There are 2 options: one for just the force and motion cards and another that includes the Scientific Method cards.
BLACK & WHITE and COLOR COPIES INCLUDED!
