Little kids rule with this colorful and eye-catching version of my IB PYP Attitudes, designed for the younger kids, K through 3rd grade. The language within these 13 posters is aligned with the International Baccalaureate Organization's descriptions of the IB Attitudes. Therefore, the children become more used to the actual language used along with the academic language used constantly within the Primary Years Programme.
By introducing the attitudes of an IB learner a few at a time, I find the children develop a stronger understanding of what it means to learn and to be considered a learner. This I have done at the beginning of each school year, with one or two posters at a time, tying them in with books and character traits of well known movie characters too. (e.g. Fantastic Mr. Fox, Flat Stanley and Curious George)
The review, of course, takes place all year long as we are always referring back to the posters displayed on the wall.
You can find more ideas for implementing the IB PYP in my blog or in my stores.
