**The preview file is a pdf version of all the slides for you to review before purchasing the real thing
This powerpoint presentation covers Topic 10.2 in the IB Biology curriculum. Specifically, it covers dihybrid crosses and linked genes (see learning objectives below).
Each slide is labelled with the specific learning objective and animation/video links are provided in the slide notes. The slides are formatted to print well for handouts or revision and I can provide a pdf version upon request.
As always, please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements. These are always a work in progress!
**IB Biology Learning Objectives:
10.2.1 - Calculate and predict the genotypic and phenotypic ratio of offspring of dihybrid crosses involving unlinked autosomal genes.
10.2.2 - Distinguish between autosomes and sex chromosomes.
10.2.3 - Explain how crossing over between non-sister chromatids of a homologous pair in prophase I can result in an exchange of alleles.
10.2.4 - Define linkage group.
10.2.5 - Explain an example of a cross between two linked genes.
10.2.6 - Identify which of the offspring are recombinants in a dihybrid cross involving linked genes.
