IB English Literature HL New Curriculum: Practice Paper 2 Activities

Attached are two powerpoint presentations for the introduction of the Paper 2 as well as a revision activity after writing a Practice Paper 2 Essay. The first PDF, explains what the Paper 2 is, the definition of a commentary, the new Paper 2 rubric, and an activity of examining a model paper 2 with examiner marks (I just choose one from MYIB, should you need one, I can email it to you ) . The second Paper 2 Activity has students going back into their papers and fixing Introductions, Body, and Conclusion paragraphs based off of the suggestions in the PDF. It discusses, Context, Claim, Implications, Transitions, Signal phrases and more. The second PDF also has sample intro, body, and conclusion paragraphs annotated for the student so they understand what makes those paragraphs successful.
