For anybody who teaches International Baccalaureate (IB), English Literature, Higher Level, this might just be a great resource for you and your students.
This is a 2-3 day assignment for students to decide on their IOP (Individual Oral Presentation) topics, and then set goals for each of the 3 rubric criteria.
It includes a scoring rubric.
I have been using this tool for the past 3 years, and I have seen an average increase of 2-3 points (out of 30 total) for my students' IOP's.
I also recommend using this for 9th and 10th grade honors students to create practice IOPs for their junior and senior years.
