Because popular icons engage even reluctant learners, I've put a heavy emphasis on popular culture in this set of 150+ personality cards. You, however, can tailor the game to suit the needs of almost any humanities’ class by incorporating the historical, political or literary figures you are currently studying.
This is an updated Identity Crisis. The fading stars from my last update did not make the cut but many new personalities have been added.
Note to Canadians. Although The Weeknd and Rob Ford take pride of place in the basic set of personality cards, I've also included an 8-page Canadian supplement that offers cards for stars like Kevin Vickers and Chris Hadfield.
HOW TO PLAY
The student who is going to have the identity crisis will draw a challenge strip from the hat without looking at it. Tape this name strip to the blackboard behind and above him or her. Asking closed questions (questions that elicit only a "yes" or "no"), s/he will try to guess the name of the person or fictional character printed on the strip.
