Iditarod Character Study
INCLUDES AN ART SKILLS RUBRIC
Iditarod begins March 1, 2014. What do you think it takes to train for the Iditarod? Find out and show your answer in an illustration. This open-ended project combines character study with a sport. You could use any sport to illustrate, but we love the Iditarod.

Students choose a character trait that is needed to participate as an athlete in the Iditarod and illustrate it using TuxPaint or other drawing program. This is a great short research project for younger students.

Students can typically finish a drawing in 1 to 1.5 hours.
