The IEP goal planning chart is perfect to help organize and expedite the IEP writing process. This chart can be used for IEP writing and/or peer reviewing!
The chart includes the following columns: data, need, and goal. Two pages are provided of the chart, so two-sided printing can be done easily.
Add a data statement that is (or will be) found in your IEP present levels section. Then write the need that goes with the data that will be found in the needs section (basically the phrase the goal will be about). Lastly, you can write the goal, parts of the goal, or the goal number (as listed in the IEP) that matches the previous two sections. You continue this process until all goals and needs are addressed in all three areas on the chart. Feel free to experiment and use this in the way that is most helpful to you!
This chart can be just for personal use or provided documentation to help the peer review process.
It can also be printed and laminated, so it can be reused :)
