This Small Book for Little Hands puts the spring season into perspective for beginning ELLs, Special Ed or Mainstream students.
Topics include: seasonal weather, US holidays, seasonal activities and seasonal clothing.

Slides 3- 8 are illustrated vocabulary words for your word wall. Print out on card stock and laminate
Slides 9-32 can be used as a powerpoint on the whiteboard, IPAD, tablet or printed out to read to the class
Slides 33-44 are pages to the 24 page booklet for the children to assemble. There are two booklet pages per slide.
Have children cut pages and put book together according to page number.
Once pages are in the correct order, use paper fastener, ribbon or staple booklet together
Students may read alone, with a partner or in a group
Students may color in the pages of the booklet
Vocabulary includes: spring, March, April, May, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Easter, Passover, rain, umbrella, raincoat, boots, park, baseball, cap, butterfly, flowers, ladybug, nest, bird, kite, jump rope, slide, bicycle and I like.
