HOW TO USE?
The first and last thing I do each day is review the “Word Maps” with students. This can be accomplished in one of two ways:
Oral review: a video is attached to illustrate (takes 3 minutes)
Student centered activity: Make a set of copies of the word map (ex. 25) and put them into a clear folder/ sleeve/ shield. Give student a “dry erase” marker to fill in the answers; teacher monitors progress giving students @ 5 min to complete; review orally again.
This is a great way to differentiate in the classroom.
