Disclaimer: Please know that Shanda and I respect whatever pronoun choice that the student feels best reflects them or the picture shown in this resource. We would not object if an anatomically male student wants to be referred to as “she” or if they labeled the picture as a "she." We also would not find an answer wrong or object to an anatomically female person labeling the girls a "he" and hope that others using this resource treat the answers given just as fairly too. The choice for people to present the pronoun page to students should be made by each individual educator or parent. We would not argue or question a child's answer and would only honor their choice and we would not judge an educator or parent who wanted to teach the grammar area of pronouns as they are often used in speech and writing in substitution of nouns. ♥ Manda & Shanda
