Students will use a cut/paste activity to discover the relationship between the interior angles of a triangle. By cutting away the angles and pasting them onto a line, they will be able to recognize that the angles are supplementary/ their sum is 180. They will summarize that relationship at the bottom of the page.
*NOTE - students must be provided with 3 different colored paper triangles to complete the 3 different examples. Seeing this with a variety of shapes and sizes will reinforce the concept.
On the second sheet, they will use their new found discoveries to practice the Triangle Interior Angle Sum Theorem.
