There are two invitations in Spanish – one is for a birthday party and the other is for a wedding. The invitation to the birthday party is written in Spanish and is followed by eight (8) multiple choice questions and answers in Spanish, each with three options (a,b,c)
The wedding invitation is in Spanish, and the six (6) questions related to the invitation are written in English and the choice responses are in English.
The invitations explore the Spanish constructs “te invito” and “le invitan” in extending an invitation to someone in Spanish. They also explore important components of an invitation inclusive of the event, time, date, day, place/venues, RSVP date and activities.
These are excellent activities to recapitulate, introduce or practice writing and interpreting invitations in Spanish.
