Product Description
These manipulatives help students who are struggling with the idea of writing ionic formulas.
Cut out the two sides (the negatives do not need the 'inside arrow' cut out).

When students match up enough of both ions to create a zero total charge, they will have a clear vision of how many positive ions and how many negative ions are needed to make a particular compound.

Strongly suggest when cutting out the positive ions that you cut out around at least the tips of the arrows so that they can be placed over the 'space' on the negative ion where it would fit.
