Piedra, papel, y tijeras. Students will love this rock, paper, scissors game that utilizes -ir verb conjugations and translations. Place students in groups of two. Students will play "piedra, papel, o tijeras" to see who can advance their game piece. If a student wins with "rock" they move forward one space, a win with scissors would be a 2 space move, and a win with paper would mean going forward 3 spaces. The next step is conjugating and translating. If a student is unable to conjugate AND translate the pronoun and verb correctly he/she would lose 1 turn. The first student that makes it to the "el fin" box wins.
Paper clips and eraser tops work great for game pieces.
-IR verbs in this game include: escribir, vivir, abrir, asistir, compartir, and descubrir.
