-Two different card styles (same goals, different looks)
(Chevron with clip art)
( Scalloped Boarder)
-Editable Version (scalloped boarder) Edit in Power Point program
-To be used with the IRLA Framework from the American Reading Company.
- Worded in kid-friendly "I can" statements
- Each goal includes the common core standards they are aligned with - Four power goal cards to a page
- Cards color coded to go with the IRLA levels
Suggestions for use:
-Hang up as student's individual power goals so they are visible and posted. I have the cards laminated and ready to put in a pocket chart next to my student's names, but they don't need to be so ready, just print as you go!
-Laminate and keep on a ring for reference for yourself or for the students so they know all they need to know in their current level.
-They can be used in a "Goal Journal." Print out, have them glue their new power goal on a page and tell you how they will practice the goal. When you conference, have them bring the journal and make notes on the page about their progress and how they are practicing.
