This activity is for Act III, scene iii of Shakespeare's Othello. The first page of the worksheet defines the following rhetorical strategies: logos, ethos, pathos, repetition, and rhetorical questions. The back side then provides a table for the students to complete. They are asked to find an Iago passage from the scene that is an example of each type of rhetorical appeal and explain its effect on Othello. An answer key is included.
