Find someone who... This group speaking activity is great for getting students to speak to each either at back to school as an ice-breaker or at the end of the year. 5 versions of this activity are included so you can easily use it 5 separate times during the year without being repetitive. This activity is great for building community in the classroom no matter what subject students are learning.
Please note that this resource is also part of a big money saver: Growing bundle: My favorite ESL games and speaking activitiesThis resource is also available in my Classroom Community Building bundleCheck out my complete collection of FIND SOMEONE WHO… group speaking activities.
This resource includes:
Find someone who - 5 different versions of the activity with 16 questions per worksheet for a total of 80 getting to know your questions.
How to play:
Have your students move around the room asking classmates if they have ever done what is written in the squares on the worksheet that you provide. If a classmate responds with YES he or she writes his name on the line provided. Complete sentences are encouraged even when the answer is NO. Activity continues until all boxes are filled. Once all of the boxes have been signed your students can turn in their papers.
Your students will enjoy learning fun facts about their classmates, and you will certainly like seeing them getting to know each other!
