Ice Breaker Card Activity that gets students familiar with other students and moving around the room.
I do this as a welcome back activity to get students comfortable in the classroom environment and familiar with their new classmates. For other welcome back activities, please take a look at the following:

This is a short activity with only 6 questions in total and then a sharing period at the end of the lesson. The sharing period should encourage students to share details they have recently learned about other students in the classroom. Each question limits the number of students they can use, ex: "Find a partner with a card less than yours".
Directions: Using the playing card given to you, find someone different for each box below. Introduce yourself to your partner and write down their name. Have your partner answer the question in the box and write down their answer. The idea is to learn something about your classmates by writing down their responses.
Materials: Standard deck of playing cards.
*Students must become familiar with playing cards for lessons involving probability in certain scope and sequences.
