In this activity, students graph past and present carbon dioxide concentration and Earth's temperature trends on a double line graph. This information has been gathered from ice core data. Students will then analyze and look for patterns. Students discover why scientists are worried about today's present carbon dioxide concentrations in out atmosphere. Includes lesson handouts and answer keys.
This lesson goes well as an extension to my Ice Cores and Earth's History lesson.
