My students LOVE this game in the winter. Get a small box, cover it in white paper, and cut a hole in it. Then you can get dye cuts of fish and write math addition and subtraction problems on them, ten frames, sight words, letters....anything you want! Put paper clips on the fish and make some fishing poles with pencils, string, and a magnet. It's also fun to put some sharks in there. When students catch a shark, they have to put all their fish back in! The students will love ice fishing and collecting fish while learning. Use this as a recording page to keep them accountable for the learning piece :). It is editable so you can change the directions!
