Most know that on a spring night in 1912, fate brought these two together in a tragedy of staggering proportions. Icebergs are huge. And worse, so much of their mass is hidden from view. Just how big are icebergs? Titanic was a colossal ship, and was considered unsinkable. Just how big was Titanic? How does the size of Titanic compare with the size of icebergs? These questions and others are answered with some fun activities that students will enjoy completing. Included are two coloring activities and two modeling activities.
