Icebreaker Activity- Have You Ever...?
This is a great icebreaker game to use during the first days of school, during an advisory/connections period, etc.
Brief summary of game- Students are to come up with 5 have you ever questions to ask their classmates. They are to record those questions on the appropriate lines. They must be appropriate questions. Example: Have you ever been to a concert? Once they are done coming up with the questions, they are then going to walk around the room and mingle with their classmates and ask them their five questions. For each classmate that has had that experience, they are to write that student's name on the classmates' line. When everyone is done, you can have the students share all or some of their have you ever questions and the classmates they apply to. Students will love if you participate too! This is a great way for students to get to know each other and also learn each others' names.
This handout contains detailed directions along with space to complete the activity. Students will love this activity. It is a lot of fun.
