Description
Ickle Ockle is a silly song that is a staple in my classroom. This easy song is simple to teach and then use with various activities. I use this song when reviewing different rhythm patterns.
I have created different fish that can be printed and laminated to use in your classroom. My students use these for both centers and rhythm reading games. Both lend themselves to easy assessments for teachers.
There is a PDF and Powerpoint versions of the fish. There is also a couple lesson plan ideas to help you get started using these happy rhythm fish. I will be working on some more with sixteenth note and syncopated rhythms in the future.
